How long does an epoxy floor take to install?

How long before I can drive on it?

Walk-on traffic in 12–24 hours. Light vehicle traffic in 48 hours. Full hot-tire and heavy use in 72 hours.

Will it peel like the builder paint did?

No — when it's installed correctly. Most prior coatings fail because they were rolled on with no real prep. We diamond-grind every slab to bare concrete and use proper primers. That's why our floors last 10–15+ years.

Do you do moisture testing?

Yes. Especially on older slabs and anything below grade. Elevated moisture readings tell us whether we need a vapor-barrier primer. Skipping this step is the #1 reason coatings fail in South Florida humidity.

What's the warranty?

We warranty our installs against peeling, delamination and adhesion failure for the life of the system. Hot tire pickup, chemical attack and impact damage are spelled out in the written warranty we leave with you.

What's the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic?

Accepted Answer

Epoxy is the older chemistry — slower cure, can yellow under UV, more rigid. Polyaspartic cures four to six times faster, is UV stable, and more flexible. We use polyaspartic topcoats on every install for the durability and UV protection. The base layers are often epoxy for the build thickness.

Can I match a specific color?

Yes. Decorative flake comes in dozens of standard blends and we can custom mix. Solid colors, metallics and quartz are all customizable. We bring samples to every quote.

Do you do anti-slip coatings?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we add aluminum oxide, polymer grit or quartz to the topcoat for any wet-area or sloped surface (pool decks, ramps, kitchens, walkways). You barely see it but you feel it under foot.

Yes — full general liability and workers comp on every job. COI on request before the install.

Do you do commercial installs?

Yes. Warehouses, restaurant kitchens, auto shops, retail, medical and gym floors. We install around your operating hours — overnight, weekends or zoned phases.

Can you install over an existing coating?

Accepted Answer

Sometimes — depends on the condition of the existing coating and how well it's bonded. Most of the time we recommend mechanical removal and starting clean. We'll evaluate during the quote.

Do you install pool deck coatings?

Yes — chlorine and salt-water resistant systems with aggressive anti-slip texture and UV-stable topcoats that won't yellow. Color blends to keep the surface cool underfoot.

For most jobs, within two weeks of quote acceptance. Faster for smaller jobs, longer for larger commercial work. We'll give you the real lead time when we quote.
